Network Customer Service Support

Leidos is seeking a F5 Load Balance Network Engineer to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DOD. This role is responsible for implementation, operations, and maintenance of load balancer technologies in a global enterprise across multiple networks. Duties include upgrading to new technologies, tuning performance, and implementation of critical system patches. This infrastructure may include on-premises and cloud resources. This individual will work in a team environment to ensure mission needs are met for internal and external customers. Ensure load balancing configurations and PKI certificates are backed up in accordance with customer policies. Alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary. Provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages. Develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures and other documentation for 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.

Knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools to be able to complete technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances. Technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations. Experience working independently in support of customer requirements. Familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.

Candidate must, at a minimum, meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) – IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher). Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 years of prior relevant experience.
