Registered Nurse (RN) - Open Heart / CVOR - Kissimmee, FL

Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Shifts: Days: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12*3)

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Open Heart (CVOR) Registered Nurse to join its Cardiovascular Operating Room team. This role supports complex cardiac surgical procedures in a high-acuity, collaborative environment at a Level II Trauma and teaching hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care for open heart and cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during cardiac surgeries, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes during surgery
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and surgical staff
• Adhere to hospital protocols, evidence-based practices, and safety standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Open Heart (CVOR) RN experience in an acute care setting (required)
• Active Florida RN license or compact license
• Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA Healthcare Provider) - required
• BSN preferred
• CNOR preferred
