Registered Nurse (RN), Oncology Telemetry

MS-Tele Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a skilled MS-Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to support our clinical team across multiple facilities within a designated zone. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to providing quality patient care across various units and specialties.
Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the MS-Tele unit.
Float to various units within the assigned zone as needed, including but not limited to Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Obs.
Monitor and titrate medications and drips, including Heparin as required.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Participate in unit-specific orientation and training for successful integration.
Maintain compliance with all certification requirements.
Submit time-off requests prior to beginning the assignment.
Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of Med-Surg Telemetry experience required.
Prior neuro patient care experience is strongly preferred.
Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Schedule
Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance and may follow one of two formats:

Scheduled at a single facility for the week with potential to float within that facility.
Just-In-Time (JIT) assignments where facility is assigned 1-2 hours before shift start via call.
Expect to work 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule, and you may be asked to participate in holiday rotations as needed.
Patient Care Environment
Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:5-6 based on patient acuity. Designated Charge Nurses support the unit and may manage patient assignments based on unit needs.

Westminster, CO
