Under the general supervision of the Director of Sales, the Clinical Liaison is responsible is a key representative for cultivating quality relationships inside multiple medical facilities, being visible on a daily basis providing prompt service, informing medical staff, patients and family members regarding delivery, request medical documents when needed, while marketing a variety of SuperCare Health DME, Respiratory therapies and/or infusion services.

Coordinating all details of Durable Medical Equipment and Respiratory item deliveries to the Hospital room and to home with the Customer Care Specialist, Dispatcher and Respiratory Department.

Consulting with the patient and and/or family on receiving the Durable Medical Equipment items to the patients’ room prior to discharge whenever possible, to reduce the amount of deliveries to home or deliver to the home if needed.

Instructing patient/family and caregivers on the appropriate use of Durable Medical Equipment and Respiratory equipment when delivered to hospital room.

Consulting Director of Sales on any Durable Medical Equipment Respiratory orders for patients.

Medical groups to ensure all required pre-authorizations and proper coordination of services when applicable.

Must review and maintain appropriate inventories of equipment in assigned storage/closets to maintain adequate inventory PAR levels set by SuperCare Health.

Provide Customer Care Department Specialists with essential information needed to properly process insurance or private pay billing.

Adhere and abide by SuperCare Health’s HIPAA policy.

Understand and adhere to all of SuperCare Health company policies.

Must submit completed all approved business expenses in a timely manner.

Schedule ongoing community development activities, in-services and seminars on any new Durable Medical Equipment.

Receives and documents the order for respiratory equipment and or services from the customer service, patient, caregiver, physician, and or family member.

Completes patient accounts paperwork including Plan of Care-treatment/assessments

Supports SuperCare Health by being loyal and informing the office of concerns and problems to be resolved

Follows up visit for respiratory patients and assists in continuity of care as needed and determined by policy and procedure

Acts as liaison between SuperCare Health and the patient, family, caregiver and physician

Be able to execute strategic planning and selling to your referral sources. This includes pre-call planning and the ability to understand that each sales call has an opening, probing questioning, presenting of benefits, and closing for the business.

Become an expert on our core products of Respiratory Equipment and Supplies including

Ventilators, Vests, Oxygen, BiPAP, CPAP and any other respiratory related equipment & supplies.

Must be able to walk long distances across large healthcare facilities.

Must be able to lift and carry equipment and miscellaneous items up to 75 lbs. Fast-paced Healthcare Facilities with the emphasis on prompt deliveries and coordination of Durable Medical Equipment and services with an effectively with a high level of communication with multiple partnered healthcare vendors. Demands of this job include, but are not limited to coordinating multiple discharges at one time, working under multiple deadlines, and forwarding pertinent discharge information to both SuperCare Medical and appropriate Healthcare staff.

Work Experience Requirements:

Graduate from accredited RT Care Program (licensed RCP)

Thorough knowledge and skill related to respiratory care field

Excellent customer service and communication skills

People-sensitive characteristics with a genuine desire to help others
