Join a passionate early childhood education team at the Wilder Child Development Center in making a positive impact on families through a whole family focus. As a valued team member, you will actively work and participate with our team of teachers and staff to provide support and services to children and their families as a role model for children; Guide diverse children using a strengths-based, culturally relevant approach that supports the whole family; Support the development and implementation of plans for activities, events and projects that align with Wilder's strategy and CDC's goals; and help maintain an incredible experience and environment that's clean, welcoming and accessible for children and their families such as light housekeeping, laundry, occasional meal prep and cleanup.
You will be expected to complete the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential after hire. The CDC provides full financial support for obtaining this credential.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of six (6) months of experience working with a diverse group of toddlers, young children, and their families. Fluency in English is required (and it's a plus if you speak additional languages!).
