Culinary Position - Line and Prep Cooks

Position Summary
We are hiring skilled, fast, and detail-oriented Line Cooks to execute our elevated izakaya menu. Working across fry, grill, sauté, and pass stations, you will play a crucial role in bringing Nagi’s culinary vision to life.
Key Responsibilities
Station Mastery: Prepare and execute menu items to precise recipe specifications and presentation standards on assigned stations (grill, fry, sauté, or plating).
Pacing & Ticket Execution: Maintain rapid ticket times and clear communication with the expo and sushi bar during peak service hours.
Station Setup & Mise en Place: Ensure stations are fully stocked, prepped, and organized prior to each service shift.
Kitchen Safety & Cleanliness: Strictly follow food handling, labeling, rotation (FIFO), and sanitation procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
2+ years of line cook experience in an upscale, high-volume restaurant environment (Japanese/izakaya experience is a strong plus).
Proficient knife skills, station management, and familiarity with high-heat cooking tools.
Strong team mentality, stamina, and ability to stay calm under intense pressure.
