The Vision Systems Engineer will play a key role in advancing machine vision technology by analyzing system performance, developing software solutions, and driving improvements to imaging and inspection platforms used in fast-paced production environments.Responsibilities of the Vision Systems Engineer include:· Assess and optimize existing vision systems, identifying opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall system performance.· Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications that interact with imaging hardware and support automated inspection processes.· Gather, organize, and evaluate operational data to uncover trends and deliver recommendations for future enhancements.· Troubleshoot machine vision hardware, cameras, optics, and network connectivity issues in both production and field environments.· Partner with engineering, operations, and technical teams to support innovation initiatives, system deployments, and continuous improvement efforts.Qualifications for the Vision Systems Engineer include:· 5+ years of experience working with machine vision systems, computer vision applications, or industrial imaging technologies.· Strong Python programming skills with the ability to independently develop and modify software solutions.· Experience utilizing OpenCV or similar image processing and computer vision frameworks.· Hands-on knowledge of machine vision cameras, lens configuration, image acquisition, and hardware troubleshooting.· Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and translate data into actionable business insights.Compensation for the Vision Systems Engineer:· Salary Range: $115,000 - $140,000· Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), paid time off, and additional company-sponsored benefits.This job opens for applications on 9/3/26.
