Procurement Specialist
Our client is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team.
The main function of a Procurement Specialist is to lead in determining and managing the sourcing strategy within a defined category or subcategories, identifying and engaging with senior stakeholders. The manager will oversee the sourcing process and materials/reports for management, as well as provide sourcing and procurement advice to business areas.
Act as a subject matter expert on procurement policies, processes and best practice.
Manage key sourcing activities for business projects, ensuring timely delivery and budgeting with appropriate risk management.
Develop category or sub-category strategy, plans, sourcing pipelines.
Understanding of procurement and sourcing techniques and supply chain management.
Experience in procurement or purchasing.
Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting, or related field.

Microsoft Office competency - 8 Years
Change Order Review & Processing - 8 Years
Experience working in Data Center
Daily monitoring of on hand and expected delivery of long lead equipment to project site.
Partner with GC to ensure accurate equipment storage to include receipt, care and custody and maintenance is executed.
Monitor, Communicate, Escalate and Mitigate risks including equipment and supplier tech resource constraints
Data Center procurement and / or contract execution for long lead equipment.
Inventory Management of stored equipment including managing vendor on care & custody.
