Weekend Evening Counselor

Victim Services Counselor provides counseling services to victims of crime, victim advocacy and provides information/referral to victims of crime. Responsible for maintaining VOCA grant compliance reports and documentation. Provides individual, group and family therapy

• Use diagnostic treatment Instruments to assist as needed with possible mental health diagnoses
• Conduct case management, advocate for victims, provide support for victims throughout the legal process
• Will attend and participate in training and professional development as related to providing services to victims of crime
• Maintain VOCA Grant
• Exempt - Full-Time
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement
• In the event of an emergency, employees are required to work to provide for the safety and well-being of the public, including the delivery and restoration of vital services.

Graduate Degree (MS/MA)
• Active License Professional Counselor LPS license within twenty-four (24) months of hire

LPC - intern license within thirty (30) days of hire
