RRT- Hospital - Respiratory

Immediate need for a talented Respiratory Therapist (RRT). This is a 03+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia(Onsite) . Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.
Shift: 12-hour Day Shift (approximately 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
Overtime: Assess patient's respiratory status by incorporating relevant clinical information including vital signs, chest X-rays, and ABG values
Set up and monitor mechanical ventilators and perform associated critical care duties such as airway management and tracheal suctioning
Perform arterial punctures and obtain arterial blood samples from arterial lines; perform analysis of blood gases
Attend high-risk deliveries as a member of the Neonatal Resuscitation Team (NRP required when rotating to NICU or attending deliveries)
Perform non-invasive oxygen and carbon dioxide monitoring
Obtain and analyze arterial blood gas samples
Practice proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
Perform diagnostic cardiac testing including EKGs, rhythm strips, and 24-hour Holter monitoring
May perform pulmonary function testing, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, EEGs, and assist with bronchoscopies after completion of competencies.

Minimum 2 years of recent experience within respiratory care specialty
NBRC - RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential (required)
Valid Georgia State Respiratory Care License
Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, airway management, arterial blood gas sampling, and non-invasive monitoring
Experience with neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations.
Graduation from an accredited respiratory care program with an Associate's degree or equivalent
NBRC - RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential - required
Valid Georgia State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License - required
AHA NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - required when rotating to NICU or attending deliveries.
Minimum 2 years of recent experience within respiratory care specialty - required
Experience with adult, neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations
Proficiency in arterial blood sampling techniques as prescribed by hospital standards
Proficiency with mechanical ventilators, airway management, and blood gas analysis
Commitment to safety, infection control, and evidence-based practice
