Inova Blood Donor Services is looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist 1 to join the team! This role will be a full-time position. This role requires balancing productivity, customer service, and compliance to ensure the integrity of the collection process and donor experience.
Sunday through Saturday, days/evenings/nights, on-call shifts (sixth) all team member rotations. All team members are required to work four weekend shifts not limited to four due to all hands-on deck/event days. Required holiday.

Phlebotomist 1 Job Responsibilities:

The Phlebotomist 1 balances productivity, customer service, and compliance to ensure the integrity of the collection process and donor experience.
Demonstrates safe phlebotomy procedures for the blood collection from donors and patients.
Consistently upholds quality standards to ensure the safety, purity, and potency of all blood products.
Demonstrates familiarity with Inova Health System's Quality Plan including training, materials management, error prevention, quality control, quality assurance, and quality management.
Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
