Police Officer

The Town of Dumfries is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the position of Police Officer in the Dumfries Police Department. In this position, you will be responsible for performing responsible protective service work in the police department; does related work as required. The work involves an element of personal danger. This position will be under the regular supervision of a Sergeant, works directly for the Chief of Police.

A successful candidate will be eligible for many of the Town's benefits, which include competitive health and dental insurance, annual and sick leave, and enrollment in the Virginia Retirement System.
