We are currently seeking a dedicated, caring, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at The Landings of Swansboro. This role is vital in assisting residents with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe, supportive environment.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), and supporting the nursing team in maintaining residents' health and well-being. Personal Care Assistance:

Assist residents with ADLs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
Support residents with eating, hydration, and nutritional needs.
Help residents maintain personal hygiene and overall comfort.

~ Health Monitoring:

Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing team.
Assist with medication reminders and basic healthcare tasks under the supervision of licensed staff.

~ Resident Engagement:

Foster meaningful relationships with residents through companionship and supportive care.
Encourage participation in activities and programs to promote social interaction and mental well-being.

~ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents.
Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist with emergency care when needed.
High school diploma or GED required.
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare, senior living, or long-term care setting preferred.

Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs.
Basic knowledge of nursing care procedures and safety practices.

Ability to assist residents with mobility and physical support as needed.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
