In this job you will assist with the set-up, programming, operation, and adjustment of conventional or automatic machines such as Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machines. In this role you will work from drawings and written instructions to create replacement and new parts in making repairs to metal parts as well as for experimental apparatus or prototype equipment and read CNC programs.
Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs for multiple machines
Lead setup and operation of CNC and manual machines to exact tolerances
Oversee entire machining cells or areas, ensuring productivity and quality
Operate Mazak interface and 5-axis lathe
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Meet all production standards
High school diploma or equivalent required.
~Advanced training in CNC machining preferred

Ability to work in auto cad including work with computers, hand tools and measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers and tape measures.
Ability to write CNC programs.
Ability to work and run your machine with minimal supervision.
A 40-hour work week (Five 8-hour shifts/weekly on average, Monday through Friday).
Overtime may be required as needed to meet production demands.
