Satellite Engineer

Qwaltec is seeking a Satellite Engineer to immediately join our team in support of the U.Space Force 10th Satellite Operations Squadron (10 SOPS) contract: On Orbit Engineering Services (OOES). As the Prime Contractor supporting this mission, Qwaltec offers a streamlined hiring process and direct integration with the customer team. We are actively seeking candidates who are ready to contribute immediately to this critical space operations mission.

The successful candidate will join Qwaltec's engineering team providing specialized support to 10 SOPS to ensure continuous satellite mission capability. Responsibilities include satellite health and status analysis, mission planning and scheduling, real-time commanding support, anomaly response and resolution, and development of an in-depth understanding of the satellite systems supported.

Support is provided primarily during normal working hours but will include some off-hours work and potential for travel to the squadron's headquarters facility in Pt. Prime contractor supporting the 10 SOPS OOES mission

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences

• 5 to 15 years of experience in Aerospace or related fields - REQUIRED
• Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience developing training plans and materials and effectively training technical professionals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• This position currently requires Secret clearance and will require Top Secret in the near future

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or other physical science is required.

5-15 years of experience in Aerospace or related fields.

Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Secret Security Clearance or higher
