Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
Shift Details
Shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
On-call Requirement: No
Possible Float: May float to other facilities as needed
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
Assess and manage patients with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Utilize Epic for patient documentation and management.
Participate in emergency response and critical care protocols.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting, including experience with both adults and pediatrics.
Current South Carolina RN license or Multi-State Compact RN License.
Required Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, must be AHA certified)
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Preferred Certifications:
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Additional Information
Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. This may affect scheduling and should be considered before accepting a new or extended assignment. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September.
