Remote Pharmacist - 3rd Shift

Location: Remote (Candidate MUST be located in California)

Duration: 6-12 months+ temp-to-hire!!!

REQUIRED - RPH OR PharmD - Doctor of Pharmacy OR State Licensure - Pharmacy

WORK SHIFTS: Hires would be spread across shifts, so candidates must be flexible to any of below shifts / schedules [Client will be flexible with shift hours/ can approve preferred shift hours].

SHIFT / WORKING HOURS: 8 hours per day || Start time varies between 7am to 1:30pm || No Graveyard Shift || 5 days of the week (Monday-Sunday)

Training: Initial 4 Weeks || 08:30am - 05:00pm (Pacific Time)

TIME-OFF POLICY: No time-off during Training || No absences in first 90 days preferred

Equipment will be provided by the client.

Candidate MUST have a reliable home-office environment.

Required Certifications: RPH OR PharmD - Doctor of Pharmacy OR State Licensure - Pharmacy

Strong drug product and clinical pharmacy knowledge.

Candidate must have 3-5 years of Pharmacist experience.

Ability to maneuver through various computer platforms while verifying information on phone calls.

Provides prior-authorization services for formulary drugs, develops programs to provide optimal pharmacy care to patients, participates in drug utilization review programs, reviews assessment and documentation of patient care, and retrospective reviews of provider reimbursement.

Assists providers to ensure accurate dispensing and billing of products.

Adheres to organizational policies and procedures.

Ensures compliance with Federal and State laws and standards of practice which govern the profession of pharmacy.

Maintains pharmacy records in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations.

Participates in mandatory on-call rotation when required by business needs.

Makes outbound or takes inbound telephone calls to assist in various aspects of patient care and/or product distribution to/from practitioners, members, and pharmacies.

These calls include, but are not limited to, comprehensive medication reviews, targeted medication reviews, call to practitioners about product awareness, and prior authorizations.
