Title: Training Specialist

Regular/Temporary: Full/Part-Time: Full-Time

Primary duties of a Training Specialist include, but are not limited to:

Training Development and Evaluation: Independently analyze, design, and evaluate training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Lead the coordination and administration of training programs, managing timelines and resources.

Material Design: Develop comprehensive training materials, including On The Job qualification cards and knowledge assessments.

Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs analyses and participate in selecting qualified instructors.

Program Design: Collaborate on the design and implementation of training programs, contributing innovative ideas.

Lesson Planning: Develop detailed lesson plans and engaging presentations, incorporating feedback from previous sessions.

Training Delivery: Conduct diverse training formats, including performance-based and computer-based training.

Compliance: Ensure all training activities adhere to CPCCo standards and contribute to process improvements.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5 or more years of relevant experience

The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.

Experience working in the VISION development software program, or similar program.

Instructor qualification or training specialist qualification related to technical/functional operations of a nuclear facility (operation of pumps, valves, ventilation systems, waste transfer systems, chemical systems).

Knowledge of regulatory requirements for nuclear facilities in regard to training and to facility operations.
