This exciting opportunity allows you to work across various units based on staffing needs, utilizing your unique skills to provide exceptional patient care wherever you're needed most.As a member of the Float Pool, you'll:Impact Lives: Play a vital role in delivering high-quality care across the WellStar network.Float to different units, expanding your clinical expertise and gaining valuable experience.As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at WellStar, you'll provide critical respiratory care and education under the guidance of the RC Manager/Director. Delivering comprehensive patient care in complex situations, primarily in critical care settings.Collaborating with healthcare teams to plan and implement effective care strategies.Customer Service: Quality Patient Care: Administer therapies, manage ventilators, perform assessments, and provide specialized care, including assisting in invasive procedures.Safety: Maintain high patient safety standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.RequirementsEducation:Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Sciences; Bachelor's degree required.Experience:Minimum of 3+ years of current RT experience required in a hospital environment required.Excellent relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals.Proficient in computer use and familiar with healthcare databases.Connect with the most integrated health system in Georgia, and start a future that gives you more.
