About the Role Join a high‑impact manufacturing team supporting the production of industrial electric motors and rotating equipment. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in improving production processes, driving efficiency, and supporting new product introductions within a fast‑paced motor plant environment.

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives on hands‑on problem solving, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration—and wants to directly influence how products are built, scaled, and optimized on the shop floor.

What You’ll Do Process Development & Optimization Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and production methods

Analyze product design, materials, tooling, and equipment capabilities to ensure efficient production

Production Support & Execution Provide day‑to‑day engineering support to manufacturing operations in the motor plant

Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions

Support assembly, machining, and fabrication processes to ensure quality and consistency

Facility Layout & Workcell Design Analyze workforce utilization, workflow, and space requirements

Design and optimize production layouts, workcells, and equipment placement

New Product Introduction (NPI) Partner with engineering and R&D teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and scalable

Support the launch of new products into production with efficient processes

Cost & Capacity Planning Estimate production times, labor requirements, and manufacturing costs

Support capacity planning and staffing models

Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production teams

Interface with vendors to define product specifications, tooling, and equipment needs

Safety & Compliance Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify and reduce safety risks and hazards

Ensure compliance with all safety standards and plant policies

What We’re Looking For Required Mechanical Engineering (BSME), Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Industrial Engineering (BSIE), or related field

5-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in an industrial environment

Experience supporting production, process improvement, and manufacturing operations

Preferred Experience (Strong Plus) Experience in motor manufacturing, rotating equipment, or heavy industrial environments

Assembly processes for electro‑mechanical products

Experience with Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma principles

Familiarity with NC programming and CAM software (e.g., Experience working with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems

Oracle EBS) for BOMs and production data

CAD tools such as:

AutoCAD (2D)

Creo / SolidWorks (3D)

PLM systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite

Combination of office and manufacturing floor environment

Exposure to industrial equipment, electrical systems, and non‑climate‑controlled areas

Capable of standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and working in active production areas
