Waiter/ Waitress - Restaurant, Full Time, No

The Glass Knife is one of Central Florida’s most award-winning and popular culinary destinations.

Our full-time SERVER roles are an integral part of our front‑of‑house team, where the first priority is attention to detail. This is a base + tipped role in which full‑time team members could expect an average of $15-$18 per hour.

In this role, candidates must be efficient, attentive and proactive. Creating an exceptional Guest experience is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and will have previous experience working as a Server in a high‑volume environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Greet every Guest proactively and with enthusiasm; a pleasant and helpful demeanor is a must at all times in this customer‑facing role.

Familiarize Guests with the menu, proactively making suggestions and preparation details when requested.

Take customer orders and relay them accurately to relevant team members.

Serve food and beverage offerings; check on guests proactively and regularly.

Maintain all table settings; removing courses as completed, replenishing utensils, refilling beverages, etc.

Clear, properly clean, and set tables between turns efficiently.

Collect payment from customers in a timely manner.

Proactively anticipate Guests' needs in order to facilitate an enjoyable dining experience.

Perform cleaning and preparatory tasks as needed or directed by supervisor.

Promptly address customer service concerns and request assistance from management team when necessary.

Qualifications & Required Experience

Minimum 1 year previous serving experience is required.

Excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills are required.

Ability to read safety procedures, operating guidelines, and instructions in English.

Ability to walk and stand for long durations.

Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.

Ability to work scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: $6.00 per hour
