Northwell Orthopedics is seeking a BE/BC fellowship-trained Orthopedic Joint Surgeon to join their clinical team in Jackson Heights, Queens, NY. This role involves surgical work at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills, a 312-bed community teaching hospital with advanced certification in total joint replacement. The successful candidate will contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on improving patient quality of life and function.Practice InfoSurgical work will be based at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills (LIJFH) in Queens, NY.LIJFH is a 312-bed community teaching hospital.Northwell performs the most orthopedic procedures in New York, with care offered at more than 50 outpatient locations and 20 hospitals.5 hospitals are in the top 25 nationally ranked orthopedic programs according to US News & World Report.Orthopedic clinicians are part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, partnering with anesthesiologists, nurses, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists.Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.Shift & ScheduleType: Full TimeRequirementsCompletion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Joint fellowship.BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery.Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a physician in the State of New York.Candidates fluent in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
