Mott MacDonald is seeking a passionate and driven Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to
projects across North America. As an EIT, you’ll be supported through mentorship, technical training, and
hands-on project experience to help you grow into a confident and capable
Assist in the design and analysis of tunnel structures, shafts, caverns, and
design software

* Participate in site investigations, inspections, and construction support
environmental engineers

• Contribute to sustainability and carbon-conscious design initiatives

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering

• 3+ years of full-time experience
• Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
• Strong academic foundation in soil and/or rock mechanics, structural

analysis, and underground construction

* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Plaxis, FLAC, or similar
Enthusiasm for working on complex infrastructure projects and learning from
Exposure to tunnel excavation methods such as tunnel boring machines (TBM),
NATM / SEM, or cut-and-cover methods

* Advanced degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering
