Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders while helping patients achieve improved communication abilities and greater independence.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical needs.
Provide speech and language therapy to improve communication and functional outcomes.
Assess and treat dysphagia and swallowing disorders.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
Educate patients, caregivers, and families regarding therapy programs and home exercises.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Adhere to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
CCC-SLP Certification preferred.
Current BLS Certification preferred.
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.
Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or healthcare experience preferred.
