Caregiving Responsibilities

Provide hands-on personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene assistance.
Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor clients and promptly report changes in condition to supervisory staff
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Perform occasional light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and errands.
Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being.
Assist with medication reminders in accordance with care plan guidelines.
Administrative and Training Responsibilities

Use the SwyftOps app to manage schedules, clock in/out, complete EVV, and document care.
Complete accurate and timely shift notes, care documentation, and incident reports.
Maintain current certifications, credentials, and required documentation.
Complete required online trainings, in-services, and competency assessments.
Complete ongoing training in areas such as dementia care, fall prevention, infection control, HIPAA, and client safety.
Follow agency policies, client care plans, and documentation requirements.
Requirements

Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification required
Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a related healthcare setting preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor
Ability to follow individualized care plans and work independently in a home setting
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client homes in the Burlington/Camden area
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
Valid ID and ability to pass a background check & drug screening
