CRT/RRT - FT Night
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide high-quality care across our network of hospitals and outpatient clinics. Your role will include delivering respiratory therapies, evaluating care plans, and educating patients and their families.
Signing Bonus: $10,000 Bonus Description: One-time sign-on bonus upon hire.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using blood gas analyzers.
Perform bedside pulmonary function tests, EKGs, and tobacco cessation education as ordered by the provider.
Administer and evaluate response to respiratory therapies per the patients plan of care.
Monitor and document patient conditions, providing updates to the care team as needed.
Respond to codes and emergency calls, delivering appropriate respiratory treatments.
Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions, community resources, and support groups.
Maintain and stock respiratory care supplies and equipment, including cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Evaluate and improve respiratory care policies and procedures based on patient outcomes and research.
Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of a CRT or RRT program (Bachelors degree preferred).
Licensure: Kentucky Board of Respiratory Care License required.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 60 days of hire.
Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 90 days of hire.
