Greet guests with a smile and deliver "Unparalleled Hospitality"
Take accurate orders, make recommendations, and help every guest feel welcome
Bring "Tropitude" (energy, friendliness, and fun) to every shift
Food & Smoothie Prep
Prepare fresh ingredients and build menu items to brand standards
Make smoothies consistently and accurately
Follow food safety and sanitation practices at all times
Keep prep stations stocked, clean, and organized
Cafe Operations
Run the register and follow cash-handling procedures
Clean the kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and workstations throughout the day
Complete opening, shift, and closing duties
Support your team and jump into any position as needed
What We're Looking For

Reliability: you show up on time for the shifts you commit to
Ability to work at a fast pace and stay calm during rushes
Strong communication and teamwork
Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility
Must be 16 or older (confirm your minimum age)
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Must be able to get a food handler permit within 30 days of hire (if applicable)
Schedule
Flexible scheduling that works well for students and part-time workers
Shifts usually run 4-8 hours
Some early mornings, evenings, and weekends are required
We're closed Thanksgiving and Christmas

REQUIREMENTS

Lift/carry up to 25 lbs (ice, trash, boxes, etc.)
Stand and move for your whole shift
Regular face-to-face interaction with guests and team members
Work around cold, wet, and hot environments and commercial kitchen equipment

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a fast-casual cafe with a tropical twist. Since opening our first cafe in Tallahassee in 1997, we've been guided by a simple belief: when you eat better, you feel better.
