Targeted patient ratios are 1:4, but they can be up to 1:5-6. 36 or 48 hours. For 48-hour contract, OT is paid out after 48 hours.
Must have EPIC experience. Must have the following requirements: Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment, must have exp with stable chronic ventilators, BLS, ACLS, and NIH. IV Start preferred. 1.5 years exp and some level 1 or 2 preferred. Travel experience preferred.
Traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion. Agency will float in/out of specialty clusters. It will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or support the nursing care team of the unit floated to. If assigned to MVH, this could include floating the main campus (Dayton), south campus (Centerville) less than 10 miles from Main Campus, and North Campus (Englewood) less than 15 miles from Main Campus. Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine. Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives. RTO Request RTO with initial submittal; NO RTO will be added after the offer. RTO approval will be at the Manager's discretion. Submittal email must include application and current Nursys report, and other certs are not needed if listed on the application.

Licensing Requirements: Any active state RN license or compact license is accepted for submission. Candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be accepted. Required Modules: Up to 24 hours of orientation modules are billable. Floating Candidates may float within hospital or to another Premier hospital nearby please refer to the job description for floating details. It is common for travelers to float to other units based on their skill sets and based on census. Candidate must be comfortable floating based on the job description with no restrictions or special requests. Charting Exp Required Epic is required for all inpatient nursing roles and most Allied roles. Please review the specific job posting for details. Any previous PERM/PRN staff employee of Premier Health Partners or prior agency not extended due to tenure must wait 6 months before applying as a traveler. Please note in the submission packet if your candidate previously worked here, the facility and unit name and dates of employment. Facility rehire approval is needed. We cannot proceed with any offer until rehire approval has been obtained. Failure to disclose this information will negatively impact your candidate and may result in a cancellation.
