Location: Lees Summit, MO
Unit Description:

Number of Beds: 13
Number of Staff: 40
Staffing Structure:
Day Shift: 3 RNs (7am), 2-4 Midshift RNs, 2 Techs
Night Shift: 3 RNs (7pm), 2-4 Midshift RNs, 1 Tech

Patient Ratios: 1:3 to 1:4, expanded as needed
Type of Equipment: GE Monitors
Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal care.
Participate in collaborative team discussions to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Required Skills:

Recent experience in emergency room nursing.
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC.
Preferred Skills:

Charge experience within an emergency room setting.
CPR Instructor certification (CPI) is a plus.
