We are looking for a motivated Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our team onsite in Poestenkill, NY!
Provides monthly operational reporting package with analysis of sales, costs (Material labor & overhead including variance analysis) and profit contribution, including Inventory & work orders control and sox compliance.
Responsible for the product/projects costing, costing parameters & profitability
Preparation of monthly reporting package, gross margin reconciliations & cost variances analysis
Responsible on inventory & work orders valuation, control, reserve & physical count
Responsible for audits review, sox compliance & internal control
Support management with project profitability, actual cost analysis & cost saving program

Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, CPA/CMA nice to have
- 7 years’ experience with costing & cost controlling and accounting background in manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, along with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to drive profitability and efficiency
- Advanced Excel skills are essential for financial modeling, data analysis, and report preparation.
- International travel is required
