Job Summary

Emergency Room RN ER Specialty Location unspecified. This role involves delivering high-quality emergency nursing care within a 65-bed emergency department. The position requires a dedicated professional to provide assessment, documentation, IV therapy, phlebotomy, EKG monitoring, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.

Job Details

Position Description: Emergency Department RN working 36 or 48 hours per week, nights and every other weekend.

Required Qualifications: Valid license with certification in American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience.

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Certified in emergency nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education. The unit uses EPIC electronic charting system. Floating to the ED Observation wing (16 beds) and the Adult Mental Health Unit (ED PsychOBs) may be required.
