Patient Care Associate (PCA)

A $750 sign-on bonus is being offered to eligible new employees hired into our PCA positions.

Evenings: 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM / 11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Mandatory weekend shifts every month

Rotating holiday schedule

Only applicants seeking full-time 36-40 hours permanent employment will be strongly considered for an interview. Experience working in patient care/elder care 0-1 years preferred.

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Patient Care Associate (PCA) supports the multidisciplinary healthcare team in providing safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. PCA assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support, while promoting comfort and maintaining patient dignity. Responsibilities also include monitoring and documenting vital signs, obtaining EKGs, drawing blood, and responding promptly to patient requests while safeguarding confidentiality and always ensuring patient safety.

Completes all required documentation in the medical record

Listen to patient concerns and reports changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Certified Medical Assistant (National Certification) preferred

Emergency Medical Technician Basic (Massachusetts) preferred

Nursing Assistant (LNA Massachusetts) preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology

Strong patient/customer service skills

Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate electronic medical records efficiently.

Pay Range: $20.58 - $26.58/Hourly
