Reports To: Wine and Spirits Department Manager
Afternoons, Evenings, and 1 Shift on Saturday or Sunday, 18+ required.

As a Wine & Spirits Cashier , you'll be part of a team that helps guests find the perfect pairing for any occasion-from local craft beers to premium wines and specialty spirits. As a Wine and Spirits Cashier at Festival Foods, you will:

Be a Product Guide : Help guests find what they're looking for, offer recommendations, and take special orders.
Maintain inventory levels, ensure accurate pricing, and keep shelves stocked and organized.
Operate the Register : Ensure Cleanliness : Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

To excel as a Wine & Spirits Cashier, you should have:
Must be at least 21 years of age in order to sample products sold in the wine and spirits department.
Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers
Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
Must possess the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises. Also requires proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: hand jack, baler, forklift, pallet jack, trash compactor, proper lifting techniques, and proper scanning techniques.

walk in the store; Requires fine finger and broad manual dexterity, and eye-hand-foot coordination in order to operate equipment.
This position requires the employee to have full range of upper body motion in order to occasionally lift stock. Must possess functional sensory abilities in order to visually monitor the store, create attractive displays, and to operate equipment.
The work schedule may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays within the individual's availability.

Weekly Pay & Premium Pay: Hourly associates are paid weekly, providing more frequent access to their funds. Part-time store associates are paid a $1 premium per hour on Sundays and select holidays. Hourly full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.
