The Maintenance Tech at CSC Management is responsible for performing a variety of duties related to maintenance, repair, and general upkeep of our properties. This includes identifying and resolving issues, conducting regular maintenance inspections, and responding to service requests in a timely manner. Full Time Maintain a clean and well-maintained environment

• Perform regular maintenance inspections and identify any issues or necessary repairs
• Respond to service requests from tenants and address any maintenance or repair issues. Complete repairs and general upkeep tasks, including plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry work, drywall, and more
• Appliance repair
• Make ready apartments - paint, caulking, dry wall, and more
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed
• As a representative of CSC within the region and community, Maintenance Tech build relationships with their tenants, property managers, and vendors. You should project a positive, professional image of the organization to tenants, contractors, and partners.

Diagnoses and performs on a daily basis minor and routine maintenance/repair involving the following:

• Electrical and plumbing (including water lines)
• Water irrigation systems
• Tile, carpet, flooring
• Roofing, gutters, fasteners
• Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable)
• Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors
• Boiler, gas and electric
• CPO Pool areas, tile, jacuzzi, pool furniture
• Removes and transfers heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa) as circumstances warrant. Assists in moving abandoned furniture, appliances, etc., Maintains adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials to handle most common repairs and situations.
• Identifies all utility meter cut-offs, apartment and fixture cut-offs, sewer cleanouts and prepares maps indicating same.
• Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred
• Strong knowledge of building systems and general repair techniques
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; Equipment Requirement: Required to wear back support belt, wear goggles when working with specific equipment, wear masks and gloves and other safety equipment as tasks dictate.

Equipment/Machinery/Tools: An employee in this position must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of the following tools:

• User-Move Aids: Wheelbarrows, dollies, hand trucks, buckets, hoists, jacks, step ladders, full ladders, double ladders.
• Mechanical Equipment: Motors, pumps, compressors, blowers, electric and hand power augers, etc.
• Calipers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, testing meters, PH tests, gauges, etc.
