Job Summary:

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Springfield, Missouri. This role involves providing urgent and high-quality patient care within a busy, urban trauma center. The selected candidate will utilize their clinical expertise to deliver comprehensive nursing services in a Level 1 trauma environment, ensuring patient safety and comfort across all age groups.

Job Details:

Schedule: Evenings, 1500-0300, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications: Current RN License (meeting Missouri licensure criteria or licensed in Missouri), BLS, ACLS, PALS from the American Heart Association, TNCC, NIHSS certifications; 1 year of emergency department experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma facility; location in Missouri or eligible for licensure there

Preferred Qualifications: Trauma and pediatric experience, experience managing 200+ patients per day, high-acuity patient care knowledge

Additional Information: Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinating with departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and evaluating care outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment. The role requires standing and walking most of the time, lifting and moving patients, and working in a clean, controlled environment.
