Registered Nurse – Stress Technician
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 32 Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

Oregon state RN license
BLS certification
ACLS certification
CRASE training (if assignment extends beyond 6 months)
Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform pre-test nursing assessments to evaluate patient readiness for stress testing, including vital signs, history, and medication review.
Monitor patients during testing, evaluating vital signs, ECG rhythm, oxygen saturation, and clinical condition.
Operate stress testing equipment and document test procedures and results accurately.
Communicate patient status, concerns, and test results effectively with the healthcare team.
Recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient status, initiating emergency interventions as needed.
Assist in the coordination of test schedules and departmental workflow.
Compliance / Notes:

Participation in required education for DNV programs as applicable to position.
Agency nurses may be floated to other departments where they are qualified to perform patient care before core staff is floated.
