Temp - Phlebotomist - LAB

Phlebotomist - S Broom Street, Wilmington, DE Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
Enter patient data accurately and promptly.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Complete administrative and clerical duties as required.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program.
3 months or more of experience as a phlebotomist.
Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Must pass a standardized color blindness test.

Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan.
