Full Time Physiatrist Needed

PHYSICAL THERAPIST Location: Putnam and Dutchess counties

VNS Westchester is a well-known home care provider serving Putnam and Dutchess counties. We are seeking Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality care directly to patients in their homes.

We provide a comprehensive home-care training program for recent Physical Therapy graduates.

Responsibilities Assess patients for functional limitations and develop treatment plans with specific goals in collaboration with the patient, family, nurse, physician, and other health team members.

Deliver direct care using accepted physical therapy modalities to treat medical/surgical conditions.

Instruct and supervise patients, families, home-health aides, and others on home exercise programs and other care aspects.

Identify and report significant clinical information to physicians, clinical managers, primary nurses, and other disciplines; document all clinical evaluations and treatment responses.

Qualifications NYS professional license and current registration as a Physical Therapist.

One (1) year of full-time experience in direct provision of physical therapy services.

Home care experience preferred.

Proficiency with industry technology such as a tablet during field visits.

Ability to drive and maintain a reliable automobile for field use.
