Job Summary:

Vascular Sonographer position available in Key West, Florida. This role involves providing diagnostic vascular imaging services including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, and small parts sonograms, along with ultrasound-guided procedures. The candidate will be responsible for delivering timely, high-quality imaging in a fast-paced environment, supporting both inpatient and outpatient care under departmental protocols.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with on-call responsibilities 2-3 nights per week. On-call nights may occur any night of the week.

Required Qualifications: Certifications include ARDMS registration in general RDMS and vascular (RVT); BLS certification; OB experience; graduate of an accredited AMA school; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); maintains a State License as a general radiographer and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations is preferred but not required.

Additional Information: The ultrasound technician will perform abdominal, pelvic (gynecological & obstetrical), transvaginal sonograms, and small parts sonograms (thyroid, breast, scrotum). Responsibilities also include ultrasound-guided interventions. Prior housing arrangements should be secured within 50 miles of the facility before acceptance, with an address provided upon submission.
