Research Fellow - Biochemistry

The Research Associate I will be responsible for supporting compliance with the company's current marketed dental consumables including meeting internal and external quality and safety requirements. The role will be primarily responsible for performing experiments in the research laboratory and completing all required documentation.

Under general supervision, conducts assigned experiments using appropriate equipment, techniques, and protocols. Applies good laboratory practices.

Under the guidance of more senior R&D personnel, plans a schedule of research activities according to the company’s timetable, and establishes daily or weekly routines necessary to meet the project timetable.

Records experimental data and observations. Complies with all company policies and procedures including quality, complaint handling, and safety.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field required OR

Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field plus a minimum of 2 years of industrial laboratory experience required.

Knowledge of standard chemical or physical testing procedures is required.

Understanding of good laboratory practices required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel required.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required.

Work in a chemical laboratory and/or manufacturing environment with the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

Works in the presence of human and animal teeth.
