TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Des Moines, Iowa, 50314!

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)
Contract | 6-Month Assignment | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend, Every Other Holiday | Onsite
Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders and established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
Ability to read and interpret telemetry/cardiac monitoring
Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Prior travel or contract nursing experience
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in an acute care environment
Opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting through a 6-month contract assignment
