Competitive Compensation: $65|hr ~ Comprehensive Benefits: ~ Sick Leave ~ Premium hourly wage ~ Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm ~ Experience: Outpatient oncology experience with the administration of chemotherapy is preferred ~ Professional Growth: ~ Advanced surgical specialty exposure ~ EPIC EMR proficiency development Qualifications: ~ Education: ADN|BSN from an accredited program ~ Licensure: Active NY RN License ~ Experience: ~ Minimum of 2 years recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of comparable size and level as Hospital ~ Must have experience in ambulatory, oncology, or surgical settings ~ Travel nurses must have experience in hospitals of equal or larger size or trauma centers ~ Technical Skills: ~ BLS certification required; must be able to maintain|renew certification as needed ~ EPIC EMR proficiency (preferred) ~ Soft Skills: ~ Patient education expertise ~ Team collaboration in high-volume settings Key Responsibilities: ~ Provide comprehensive care for surgical|trauma patients ~ Educate patients|families on post-procedure care ~ Coordinate with surgical teams for seamless care transitions ~ Maintain accurate EPIC documentation ~ Adhere to infection control protocols in specialty areas
