Position Title: School Nurse (2026-2027)
Match Charter Public School is a free, high-performing charter public school in Boston. We are a PreK-12 school serving up to 1,250 students. Elementary School Nurse (2026-2027))
Match Community Day (100 Poydras St. ASAP
Match Charter Public School has an immediate opening for an experienced registered nurse for our 600+ student elementary school, located on 100 Poydras St., Match is adding a second full-time nurse to support daily needs at the school. This nurse will also provide occasional coverage if needed at Match Middle School in Jamaica Plain or Match High School in Brighton. Our schools are committed to ensuring the health and well-being of all of our students. The nurse will work closely and collaboratively with the school leaders, teachers, and other staff in our elementary school. The candidate must be a registered nurse with CPR/AED certification. The ideal candidate has school nursing, pediatric, emergency room, and/or public health experience.
Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7am-2:45pm. The compensation for this position ranges from $67,812-$104,899 and is based on a candidates prior years of nursing experience. Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.
Medication administration PRN and daily;
Serving as medical presence during school hours from 7am-2:45pm daily;
Implement annual school requirements including but not limited to health screenings for all students, EpiPen and medication delegation for staff to the extent possible within license, field trip coordination for students with medical needs, annual medical forms from students, maintenance of medical orders, and procedures for students on individual health plans particularly during winter months;
Provide nurse coverage if needed at Match Middle School and Match High School;
Assist with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community
Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioners license.
Experience in pediatrics/adolescent medicine.
Excellent communication skills with youth and families from multiple cultural backgrounds.
