RN Hospital -Pool

Overview Methodist Hospital, part of SA Health and a leading healthcare provider in San Antonio, is seeking compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurses to join our Float Pool within the Healthcare & Medical Services department. As a Registered Nurse Float Pool team member, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across a variety of inpatient units, which may include medical-surgical, telemetry, step-down, emergency, and specialty care areas based on organizational needs and your skills and experience.

Roles and Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, and serve as a patient advocate to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes.

Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient conditions, recognize and respond to changes in status, and document thoroughly and accurately in the electronic medical record.

Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives, follow all hospital policies and regulatory standards, and uphold best practices in infection prevention, patient safety, and cultural competence.

Qualifications Experienced Registered Nurses confident in their clinical judgment and comfortable floating to multiple units.
