Licensed Vocational Nurse I - Nights (Care Center) - Full Time

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, hands‑on nursing care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, monitoring health status, and documenting care in accordance with established standards and regulations. This role collaborates with registered nurses, physicians, and other interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans, respond to changes in condition, and support residents’ physical and emotional well‑being. Daily responsibilities include communicating with residents and families, assisting with admissions and discharges, ensuring safety and infection control practices, and helping train or guide nursing assistants. This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Summerville, SC, requiring consistent presence to support continuity of care and resident relationships.

Current, active LPN license in the state of South Carolina, in good standing.

Demonstrated clinical skills in medication administration, basic nursing procedures, and resident assessment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Ability to follow care plans, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to regulatory and organizational policies.

Commitment to person‑centered, compassionate care in a long‑term care or senior living environment.

Basic computer skills for electronic health records and routine documentation tasks.

Previous experience in geriatric, long‑term care, or assisted living settings preferred.

Capacity to work full‑time on‑site, including possible evening, night, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed.

CPR certification and knowledge of safety and infection control practices.

Ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist residents in accordance with job‑related physical requirements.
