CRT or RRT (Respiratory Therapy #)

The LECOM Institute for Successful Living is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our residents. As we continue to expand our services, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team.

• As a Respiratory Therapist at LECOM Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive respiratory care to our residents. Working in collaboration with our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will assess, treat, and monitor respiratory conditions to ensure the well-being of our residents. Your expertise will contribute to the overall quality of care we provide, promoting a comfortable and healing environment.
• Assess and evaluate residents with respiratory conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Administer respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medication, and ventilator management.
• Monitor and adjust mechanical ventilation settings as needed.
• Educate residents and their families on respiratory care techniques and self-management.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document and maintain accurate records of respiratory assessments, treatments, and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and coordinate resident care.
• Current Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
