As an outpatient Physical Therapist, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and guide patients through goal-driven rehabilitation programs. Typical case mix includes post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, spine and joint conditions, and performance-related issues. You will utilize a combination of therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and safely return to work, sport, and daily activities.
A typical day may involve managing a caseload of scheduled outpatient visits, documenting thoroughly in the electronic medical record, coordinating care with physicians and other providers, and communicating progress and goals clearly to patients and their families. Patient volumes and scheduling are designed to support high-quality, individualized care, with an emphasis on continuity of treatment and measurable outcomes.
