Quality Assurance Inspector - Cinova Medical, Inc. | Phoenix, AZ

Cinova Medical is hiring a Quality Assurance Inspector to join our Quality team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a hands‑on, floor‑based role for someone with sharp attention to detail who wants to be the first line of defense in medical device manufacturing quality.

About the Role
As a Quality Inspector, you'll inspect and verify injection‑molded components during manufacturing to ensure they meet specifications, drawings, and quality standards — helping prevent defective product from advancing through production or reaching customers. You'll report to the Quality Manager and work in a fast‑paced, precision‑driven environment.

What You’ll Do

Perform routine dimensional and visual inspections of molded parts on the production floor

Use tools like calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, CMMs, pin gauges, and go/no‑go gauges to verify conformance

Accurately document dimensional measurements and inspection results in check sheets, logs, and electronic quality systems

Identify and segregate nonconforming product, initiating Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) as needed

Maintain traceability and proper labeling of inspected product

Ensure inspections align with company SOPs, ISO9001 / ISO13485 standards, and customer requirements

Support internal and external audits with inspection data and records

Uphold Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and cleanroom/GMP guidelines where applicable

What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in Quality or Plastics Manufacturing preferred

Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and blueprint reading

Proficiency with common inspection tools; CMM or vision system experience a plus

Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills for accurate documentation and communication

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment

Solid communication skills to collaborate with production and engineering teams

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role is performed on the production floor and in the quality lab, in a typical machine shop environment requiring safety glasses. Cleanroom gowning may be required depending on product line. Candidates should be able to stand, sit, or walk for periods up to four hours; accurately distinguish colors and shades; lift up to 30lbs; and handle small parts with precision.
