NICU Trained Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
We are seeking a NICU Trained Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to fill a critical gap in our skillset. The ideal candidate will possess experience in a tertiary teaching hospital and be adept in caring for diverse patient populations, including NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adult critical care.
Operate and manage ventilators and various respiratory therapy equipment including Drager V500, VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm.
Provide respiratory care and support to diverse patient populations in critical environments.
Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and procedures while delivering patient-centered care.
3+ years of relevant experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).

• NRP certification required for NICU practice.
• Experience in a teaching hospital, especially in a level 1 trauma center.
• Ability to float between NICU, PICU, acute care pediatrics, and adult critical care as needed.
