Responsibilities may include assessment of medication therapy regimens, medication therapy management, medication order verification/entry, medication distribution, medication therapy monitoring, and consultation, documentation of medication therapy plans, and medication use education and pharmaceutical care services. Additionally, pharmacists are active members in quality improvement, research activities, and education as described in the job specific competencies.

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.program or Bachelor of Science (B.and applicable Board of Pharmacy Specialties (BPS) or other certification applicable to the position as determined by the supervisor preferred. Completion of pharmacy residency and specialization (e.g., Evidence of ongoing scholarly pursuits including research/quality improvement, publications, or scientific presentations preferred. Relevant applicable pharmacy experience working in a progressive and collaborative practice environment preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others, organizes time well, practice with an agile mindset, solve problems, and work independently with minimal supervision required.

Current pharmacist license by the Board of Pharmacy in the state(s) of the job's practice site, or eligible to obtain within a time frame compliant with the site's applicable employee licensure policy. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.

Part Time

As needed days, evenings or weekends across the Menomonie, Barron and Eau Claire campuses. Weekend Schedule

Potential for every 3rd or 4th weekend staffing at Eau Claire inpatient pharmacy.
